1. Nitte School of Architecture – Admission Campaigns

Challenge

As a relatively new institution, Nitte School of Architecture needed to establish credibility among students and parents who were often uncertain about career pathways in architecture. Many families were confused about the admission process, eligibility, and the long-term scope of the profession. This lack of clarity slowed down student conversions and made it harder to compete with more established colleges in Bangalore.

Solution:

In my role as an Admission Counsellor, I became a bridge between the institution and prospective students. I focused on: Conducting personalized counseling sessions to explain admission procedures, course structure, and career opportunities in architecture. Guiding students on how architecture aligned with their skills and passion, thereby reducing confusion. Assisting the marketing and admissions team by sharing ground-level insights about student/parent concerns, which helped refine communication and campaigns. Building strong trust with parents through transparency, empathy, and consistent follow-ups.

Results:

Increased clarity among students and parents about both the admission process and the professional journey in architecture. Boosted confidence in the institution, leading to higher admission conversions. Contributed to strengthening the school’s reputation as a transparent, student-friendly institution. Laid a strong foundation for future admissions by creating positive word-of-mouth and parent references.

2. BGS & SJB Group of Institutions – Admissions & Marketing Leadership

Challenge:

The BGS & SJB Group manages multiple institutions across Bangalore and other regions, offering programs from PUC to Postgraduate studies. With such diversity, the group faced two key challenges: Unified Branding – Each institution marketed itself separately, leading to scattered efforts and inconsistent brand recall. Competitive Market – Bangalore’s education sector is highly competitive, making it harder to attract quality students while maintaining strong admission numbers across all programs (B.E., MBA, MCA, B.Des, B.Arch, PUC).

Solution:

As Head of Admissions & Marketing, I worked on building a centralized and strategic approach to both admissions and branding. My initiatives included: Designing and executing Google Ads campaigns targeting CET, COMEDK, and direct admission aspirants, ensuring better lead quality and conversions. Developing SEO-driven blogs and content strategies (e.g., “Best B.Tech College in Bangalore”) to build long-term digital visibility. Producing alumni testimonial videos (MBA placement success stories) to boost credibility and connect emotionally with prospective students. Conceptualizing the BGS-SJB Unified Marketing Trust — a framework to streamline branding and marketing for all institutions under one umbrella. Leading campaigns across 8–9 states, managing leads, walk-ins, and seat conversions through both online and offline efforts.

Results

Significantly improved digital visibility across programs, with blogs and ads reaching a wider audience. Increased student engagement through authentic storytelling (alumni videos, campus highlights). Enhanced lead quality and conversion rates by targeting the right audience with tailored campaigns. Built a stronger brand identity for the entire BGS & SJB Group, shifting from scattered marketing to a cohesive institutional presence. Positioned the group as a student-focused, modern, and credible education destination in Bangalore.
